The Urgent Reality

Addressing the Educational Crisis in the BARMM Region

Decades of conflict, the 2017 Marawi Siege, and the COVID-19 pandemic have left deep scars on our education system. Schools were destroyed, families displaced, and a generation was left at risk of falling behind.

17 / 100

Only 17 out of 100 Grade 1 students in BARMM (SY 2010-11) graduated Grade 12 in 2022.

45%

Prevalence of stunting in children under five, acting as a biological barrier to cognitive development.

A Network of Hope Across Marawi

Scaling the success of our pilot program to reach every corner of the Bangsamoro region.

Phase 01

The Cluster Model

Establish 10 new reading center branches across Marawi City to ensure over 100 barangays have direct access to our services.

Phase 02

Regional Scaling

Expand the MCRC model to other municipalities within the wider province of Lanao del Sur, replicating the Cluster Model's success.

Phase 03

BARMM Presence

Establish MCRC as a key educational institution throughout the entire Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Mindanao (BARMM).

Partner With Us

We believe Local Government Units (LGUs) are critical partners. Through the Special Education Fund (SEF) and General Fund, we can provide sustainable support to ensure no child is left behind.
